We were delighted to welcome a first-time visiting customer to our factory for a live trial run of our double roller extrusion granulator. This visit marked the customer's first on-site inspection of our production facilities, and it provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate the performance of our granulation equipment under real operating conditions.
The double roller extrusion granulator is a dry granulation machine widely used in fertilizer production, chemical processing and mineral powder compaction. It converts fine powder materials into uniform, dense granules through high-pressure roller extrusion without requiring any drying process. This design offers significant advantages in energy saving, simplified process flow and lower overall production cost when compared with conventional wet granulation methods.
During the on-site demonstration, our engineering team conducted a complete production run covering the entire granulation process. The key highlights presented to the customer included:
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Granulation Method | Dry roller extrusion, no drying required |
| Material Range | Fertilizers, chemicals, mineral powders and compound materials |
| Granule Quality | High hardness, uniform particle size and smooth surface |
| Energy Efficiency | Lower energy consumption compared with wet granulation |
Our engineers explained the working principle of the roller extrusion system in detail and demonstrated the key components, including the feeding hopper, the pressing rollers and the granule shaping unit. The customer's questions concerning production capacity, routine maintenance and spare parts availability were all answered clearly during the visit.
The customer expressed positive feedback on the smooth operation of the equipment and the quality of the finished granules produced during the trial run. As a first-time visitor, the customer also toured our workshop and gained a clear understanding of our quality control procedures and manufacturing standards, which helped build confidence in our production capability and service commitment.
Following the successful trial run, both parties will continue discussions on equipment configuration and project details. We remain committed to providing reliable granulation solutions and comprehensive technical support to help our customers achieve their production goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
